About Bridger, MT - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!
Found in Carbon County, Bridger is a Montana town located within the Billings Metro Area. As of 2010, only about 700 people resided here. Fortunately for residents, Billings is only about 45 miles northeast, which provides ample cultural opportunities and big city amenities. Likewise, Cody, Wyoming is only about 82 miles south of Joliet along Montana Highway 72 South. The town is served by Bridger Public Schools, which includes a high school and an elementary school.
There are many things to do and places to visit in this quaint community. Bridger serves as the gateway to the Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area. Lonesome Spur is found here, and this dude ranch received notoriety from the movie “The Horse Whisperer.” Art fans should visit the Zier Gallery, and the Perkatory Tea and Coffee Shop is found in the center of the gallery. There are also many specialty shops found here, including Vintage Apothecary, Pryor Mountain Liquor and Gifts, and Rhinestones-N-Rawhide.
Like the surrounding region, Bridger is found in a humid continental zone. This includes a cold and snowy winter season, and temperatures often fall below freezing overnight. Even daytime highs only reach the 30s from December to February, so it is crucial that residents have a way to stay warm at home. A home furnace is a primary component for home heating systems, and when selecting one, it is important that Bridger residents consider energy efficiency. High-efficiency home furnaces will offer property owners a longer life span and significant savings.
Summer in Bridger is a great time to get outdoors and recreate. The season is very warm, but humidity levels are moderate. Average daily high temperatures reach 79 degrees Fahrenheit at the height of the season. Still, many residents appreciate the cooling actions of a central A/C during this time of the year.
